That's right. Could have left Masthay inactive, and instead activated someone who could tackle on special teams.

In all seriousness, tonight was quite possibly McCarthy's finest hour so far in GB. The team was prepared, the gameplan was solid, they handled early adversity, and he did not let off the gas pedal in the second half. Very impressed with his play calling tonight. Even the first play of the second half - hated the result (a sack), but liked the play action call. A statement that we would not simply sit on our two TD lead and play conservative.

Kudos to McCarthy and the entire coaching staff.
