And he hasn't solved the punter problem either....Masthay did not have ONE SINGLE positive net yard punting the ball yesterday.

Ah how love damn lying statistics.

She might prefer Richard Simmons to Bert at this point.

Silliness. TT fixed Sherman's mess. Positioned the Packers for a mini dynasty.

The thing that always confused me is this: why did so many people think the GM needed replacing?

In general, in sports you only replace someone if you can upgrade the team by doing so (or it would be too costly to retain his services). If a better Punter is available, you can replace your Punter. If your first baseman is overpaid and underperforming, you can try to replace him with a cheaper player. If your coach reliably fails to get the team ready, and there is a (theoretically) better coach available you you can upgrade that position.

But why do we believe we are all so quick to judge the GM? Certainly, the buck stops there... but we don't have nearly enough information to conclude that the GM "isn't doing a good job" (except using the long-view, since every GM will miss on picks and every GM will make some mistakes in free agency) and we absolutely have no clue who we would replace him with that would be better. I mean, seriously... if Ted Thompson ascended to a higher plane of being and left his physical body tomorrow to travel through space and solve crimes, do we have any clue who would be in line to replace him?

You guys having fun yet?

I'm proud that I've backed TT 100% at all times but, alas, I've been riding Stubby like a homo on viagra yet it all paid of in the end.

Packers wins it all & off to the big show...to show the world that Packers are the best sports team in the world.

Really? I (like most others) thought tank was a complete tool of the highest order. Snake? Not so much; although I have to question the validity of some of his posts (one could chalk that up to the natural embellishment of a seasoned yarn spinner, or bullshit artist if you will). Nonetheless, IMO Snake is infinitely more likeable than tank. If they are one and the same, he has seriously re-invenented his online alter-ego.

If Ted Thompson wasn't such an idiot, he would have drafted Sam Shields. He totally lucked out that Shields chose to play for the Packers.

Erin Rodgers fell into his lap. TT is the luckiest guy on the planet.

Justin Harrell - need I say more?

And he let go of Brett Favre, the guy who carried GB for the last 15 years. Without him they will fall of the face of NFL relevance. Without him, they're nothing.

Ted's an idiot for drafting a big fat guy like Raji instead of a dynamic gamechanging playmaker like Michael Crabtree. Fat guys are a dime a dozen, just take a non-fat guy and give him enough donuts.

Man, you guys are too harsh. At least, wait until we see if the Packers play in and win the Super Bowl.

If we lose then fire the bum. Finishing 2nd out of 32 teams is ridiculous.

I think this is funny, especially coming from you since many, including myself, believed Mazzin was one of Tank's alter egos!

Snake only posts in the wee hours and unlike Tank, he doesn't get infatuated with a subject and beat it to death.

As Travbrew pointed out, if they are one and the same he's done well masking it. I always liked Tank and he caught me out with his Dr. Holmes personna.

Now, now. It's not Crabtree's fault that Bretsky liked him.

I liked them both. I havent logged in awhile but am a long time reader, very rarely posting anything until recently. I do remember a lot of posters calling for TT's head. Was that only during the "purging of Bert" period?

I was expecting to see the following response by the AntiTT crowd:

"But if TT had drafted more weapons for BF instead of AR, we would have won at least 2 of the last 3 SBs as BF would have played a few more years for us".

But alas, maybe there is no more antiTT crowd. I don't post here much anymore.

The last holdouts I know of for the "Fire TT" crowd focus mostly on his lack of a big move to replace Ryan Grant.

He must have attended a workshop or something. Lobotomy maybe. Omega-3 pills?

The guy has produced top 10 offenses every year since he's been here but he just figured it out this week.

He stayed at a Holiday Inn Express.
