Jaworkski comes through big time. (http://www.jsonline.com/blogs/sports/114300164.html) Someone get a copy to the offense:

"When I watched that individual matchup in that Bears-Green Bay game in week 17, I liked what I saw from the Bears' secondary," Jaworski said. "(Cornerback) Tim Jennings did an outstanding job as did Charles Tillman when they were in those one-on-one situations. In that game, the Bears played over 60% single-high safety, so those corners were matched one-on-one. It was not that Cover Two that everyone keeps talking about as their predominant coverage. It is not. You look at the tape and you see they are a single-high safety team. They blitz about one out of every four snaps. Their corners are playing very well. They obviously are helped by (defensive end) Julius Peppers coming off the edge, (defensive end) Adewale Ogunleye, who is having and an outstanding season, and those two studs inside, (linebackers Brian) Urlacher and (Lance) Briggs are just on the field every snap."

Yeah, Ogunleye sure has been kicking ass for the Bears. Look at the job he did against Barbre.

Yet if Jennings doesn't drop a likely TD pass, and the Packers convert a 1st and goal at the 1, they end up with 24 points. I'm not sure the Bears pass defense was as effective as the stats may show from that game.

Kidding aside, I thought Rodgers mentioned that the Bears played a lot of single-high safety.
