I heard that he is selling $200 seats in the atrium to watch the game. he wants to break the attendance record.

I assume those are accurate? Never ceases to amaze me...are you allowed to bring your own food? Someone brought a lawsuit against the Skydome (now the Roger's Center) and the outcome was that people were allowed to bring coolers of food (not alcoholic drinks though) into the game.

There's something inherently wrong with calling a $10 sandwich a "Po' Boy"

I also like that they have Smirnoff Ice on the menu, right under draft and the official sponsored lager. What the hell is wrong with people in Texas?

"steel" is what old cowboys and gunslingers use to call their guns

obviously they used 6 shooters to blow the hell out of a bunch of potatoes, they then take all the potato bits and fry them up. because most of the bits are so small you eat "steel cut fries" with a spork like devise called a "fleety". "steel cut fries" are usually served in a warm chestnut wood box with dove tailed joints and a small filter in the bottom called a flurette, for sucking up excess grease. "steel cut fries" are usually serves with horseradish, mayonnaise, and relish

seems pretty obvious to me

Actually - it can still be a wothy/applicable name because you'll be a "Po' Boy" real quick after attending the Superbowl, much less any other NFL game.

Hey Jerry! America's Team is gonna play in the Super Bowl in your stadium this year!

Does anyone have a link to the article or publishing of the argument as to who was originally dubbed "Americas Team"?

$9 for a draft. Better be a damn good draft!

No sir. It'll be domestic. Coors, Bud, or Miller. They should just call it "First Round Draft" because it's the most expensive. Just like 1st round players contracts.

This is more like a "welcome to the rest of wealthy america" menu. We have really good in the midwest. In New York, LA, Texas, Florida - shit is expensive. 9$ draft beer is very common in those areas. LA has 4$ a gallon gas right now, and may be 5$ befor ethe end of the year as we approach 3.50$. It;s just a different livelihood out there. They also make more money than us to to compensate for that higher cost of living.

I don't have a link, but it was John Facenda who dubbed the Dallas Cowboys "America's Team" back in the 70's. It's actually the title of one of the highlight reels he made for NFL films following one of Dallas' Super Bowl victories during the Staubach era. They play it every now and again on NFL Network during the offseason.

I can only guess that since Texas has the 4th largest gay population in the U.S. that it's a hot dog that's shoved up someone's @$$ before it's placed on a bun. Thanks, Jerry!

Noticed it here in DC too. Not always that high, but a LOT more than what I paid in MI for beer.

I think the article I want is about the argument that Green Bay was dubbed "America's Team" by someone before that NFL film piece was made. It insinuated that Dallas actually stole it. But nobody cared at the time because that time is what some of us refer to as "the dark times" in GB history. You know, when GB was lucky to win a game. Or when we were basically the Lions - laughing stock of the league.

I keep telling everyone "$20 is the new $5".
I used to get $20 worth of pretty much anything for $5 about 5 or more years ago.

Fuck those prices, Jerry Jones, and the Dallas Cowboys. I'm gonna watch the game on a HD Big screen and spend my cash all thrifty like on a case of beer, some booze and some grub for the Q.

I live in the north, perhaps not the "True North" if the Canadian National Anthem is to be believed, and not only are nuts not a major part of my diet but I don't notice a lot of tree nuts being cultivated. I think it's too cold for them.

Got this off the web site... but the last time I was there, which was the Seahawks vs. Packers in 2009 it was cheapola....

I got my ass a Packers "kid" lunch box for like $6.00 with a wrap and cheese and other crap in it... I use it as an awesome "deco" purse to piss off the locals... I think we were paying less than $6.00 per from the stands for beer... some guy was upset that they were out of Miller High Life vs. MGD... both suck... however I found it to be an awesome moment as he was screaming at me as if I could make the "High Life" magically appear for him and that I would understand his lamentations and protestations... and that, naturally, I would be a "Miller High Life Girl"... lol! No Chardonnay in that stadium dontcha know.... only at Curly's... lololol

If you haven't heard, for only $200 you can go watch the game on large televisions right outside the stadium. You have to buy a package of four tickets, so be prepared to sucker three buddies into the scam.
Somehow, that "seat" will count toward the official Super Bowl attendance.

For the love of all that is fucking good in the world - please NFL, do NOT let Jerry count these people toward attendance.

Fun Fact.....
Miller produced Miller Genuine Draft to taste like Miller High Life on Draft. so really they are the same beer. so a bottle of mgd = a draft of high life. I laugh everytime i see MGD on Draft especially when High Life is right next to it! they might as well pull from the same keg!!
