The Garaji?

OK, if you like Xs and Os, this crap means nothing to you. If it's the Bears or the Cowboys in the Superbowl, this kind of stuff grates on your nerves. But the difference now is that this is the Packers. It's our turn for the absurd, somewhat humorous, completely banal, "only happening because it's the Superbowl", extra week garbage. And debating whether B.J. Raji should be "The Freezer" or "The Garaji" becomes more important that the State of the Union address. I say 'yes' to the Garaji! Discuss.

I have no problem with Garaji but if that's going to be his name then I don't see how Seifert can describe him as "galloping." Maybe that brings up an important question that should be considered along with the name: how exactly does a Garaji move?

I hear what you're saying, but I'm always happy one-upping the Bears. Mostly because there's only one category where they ultimately win (head to head record). Otherwise, one-upping means they always lose. And that makes me happy.

The Bear reference argument against "The Freezer" is a point well-taken, but "Garaji" seems a little random.

It's like my friend whose name is Bebeau and is pronounced "BEBO". That name is already a nickname. I think that may be the case with Raji.

Wish I could take credit for the name but saw it mentioned on another forum. They were referencing to Raji as "The Jolly Raji" which seems so appropriate. Would make even more sense next year if Johnny comes back and we have him and B.J. on the line, literally would be the Jolly Raji :)

That's interesting what with the Jolly Roger once being the international sign for "You're about to be dead from us pirates". He could hand-over-hand after big plays as if he were hoisting the "Jolly Raji".

And yet, once again it is a bit forced.
