Chicago is reporting that Collins hurt his shoulder when Raji hit him.

Did anyone realize he is a 16 yr vet? That's a long time to hang around as a clipboard holder! The last time he started a significant number of games, 13, was in 97 for the Bills! Since then he's started 4 games in 14 years:shock:

During that time, he threw 27 passes in 8 years with KC.

Wow, that's quite a career!

Never in the annals of athletic competition has someone been paid so much for doing so little.

I'd say his run has come to an end.

How did people forget about me so quickly?

Barry Switzer?

edit: yup, google found me that picture.

Interesting article about him. I knew he came from the college ranks and was a national title winner, but not the circumstances of his jump to the NFL. Shades of Pete Carrol, anyone?

Reminds me a little of Pat Ryan who played for 13 seasons, 12 of them as backup QB for the Jets. He really had only one season where he played significantly. The rest of the time he was a star during the pre-season.
