I didn't know the band "Garbage" is from Wisconsin. Last week a couple of the guys from Garbage (amoung others) put out their own version of the Packers fight song called "Go Pack Go".....

They are calling themselves "the 6 packers". Has anyone in Wisconsin heard it on the radio?

Well - at least they're aptly named. Not much to live up to.

"Garbage" is from Wisconsin in the sense that the band originally got together at the University of Wisconsin (Madison). Only one member is actually from Wisconsin (the drummer is from Viroqua). The rest of the members hail from Edinburgh, Minneapolis, and Lyons Nebraska.

Well - at least they're aptly named. Not much to live up to.

As songs from local artists to celebrate momentous seasons go, it's not bad. Remember Prince's fight song for the Vikings last year?

The Femmes should throw something together.

The Femmes should throw something together.

I'm pretty sure they broke up forever ago and it was somewhat acrimonious.

The Femmes broke up a few years ago. It ended in a lawsuit. I saw the Femmes at First Avenue in Minneapolis soon after the Packers won the Super Bowl in 1997. It was awesome. Yes, they are Packers fans. They taunted the crowd. :)
