It's a beautiful day to live in Minnesota and be a Pack fan. 300+ days of bliss and not having to listen to trash talk. Now lets get the NFLPA and Owners to settle things so we have a shot at a Rodgers repeat.

Hells to the Yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Loving it
this 6 game run to win the title is just epic
no one can say we were handed this title, we went out and took it, and did it the hard way
kudos, to MM, TT, the players and the entire organization for turning this team back into something to be very proud of

TRUE TEAM VICTORY. To quote Holmgren after the SB XXXI win, "everyone had a say in it, everyone got it done". So proud of this opportunistic D to pick Pittsburgh so many times.
Even after the inexcusable drops by Jones and Nelson, they came through with huge plays. O-line for the most part won the battles.
And A-Rod did something Favre never did, WIN THE SB MVP, man is that Camaro a sweet looking car! WOO-HOO!!!!!

I apologize to Mike McCarthy for doubting. He, by all apparent evidence, DOES have what it takes to win a Super Bowl. I was wrong. Real wrong. And now I am happy. Real happy.

You're right, we could see both of those guys retiring.
I think Woodson will be back, as long as this injury isn't very bad. Driver might call it a career though.

if he could just find a killer instinct after half time we may not lose again for a long time

I still have no F'n clue how this team won anything...and then to face some more major major injuries during the SB and come out on top is just unreal.
How times change from the last super bowl. Trying to watch tv and coverage + all the online info and talk.
This team has a great shot at repeat trips if they lock up the cornerstones.

I know this is VERY SECONDARY, but M3 earned a $500K bonus for winning the SB. Kudos for holding this team together to M3 and to the much-maligned TT.

McCarthy had players fitted for Super Bowl rings Saturday night
By Tom Silverstein of the Journal Sentinel

Arlington, Texas - In a show of bravodo over the top even for the way Packers coach Mike McCarthy has handled the six-game win-or-go-home journey, the players were fitted for Super Bowl rings -- Saturday night.
McCarthy actually put the fitting on the team's itinerary for Saturday night after all the speeches and pep talks were over, the coach dismissed the players and told them to go get their fingers measured for Super Bowl rings.
"That's our head coach," defensive end Ryan Pickett said. "He's been the same way all year. He said he thought we were going to win it all, so we should have the rings fitted. After the meeting we just went out (into the hallway) and they had people there to measure us.
"We can't say enough about those guys. For us to battle back the way we did, it says something about the the whole organization."
Cornerback Sam Shields said he wasn't that surprised McCarthy did it.
"It was just something to show that he had a lot of confidence in us," Shields said. "Getting fitted for the ring showed he had confidence in us."
Team president Mark Murphy said he was aware of McCarthy's motivational tactic and was excited about it.
He said over the next two weeks, he and others in the organization would start working on the design of the ring.
"The advice I keep getting from the players is that it should be very gaudy."

Yes. And I thought that Nick Collins had a shot at MVP because that one play was every bit as important and decisive as Desmond Howard's KO return TD in XXXI. Aaron's stat line and lack of turnovers were pretty good, though.

That's what I said as well - Aaron gets it even if it's just because he didn't have an INT.
