A name dropping article to be sure. Still, some of them surprise me.

I would have thought a guy like Willie Parker had his money and would be happy enough to stay home. Did he get his 2nd contract before being done?

Why any team would want something to do with Carroll is beyond me though. He just didn't 'get' the game, maybe his raw athletic ability will carry him through?

Oddly enough I was JUST talking about Carroll with someone. Hilarious that he still somehow manages to play football.

LMAO...I just popped in ESPN 2K5 the other day to start up a franchise since I haven't played that game in awhile, and there's Carroll as a rookie on the roster. Hunt, Carroll, Luchey, Couch...you can really appreciate the LACK of depth we had back then compared to now.

At least Carroll isn't at the Citgo yet. 3rd shift has his name all over it.

That made me wonder how their record was in games he started at CB. Here it is-

2004- 9-2 in the regular season with an average of 21.6 points given up. Lost to MN in the playoffs, 31-17.
2005- 4-12 with an average of 21.5 points given up.
2006- 0-1 with 34 points given up in his one start.

And the PI penalties. The penalties.... I still have visions of the penalties......
