Per USA Today

Can't really argue with where Collins is ranked.

1. Troy Polamalu (77), Pittsburgh Steelers
2. Ed Reed (74), Baltimore Ravens
3. Nick Collins (58), Green Bay Packers
4. Eric Berry (43), Kansas City Chiefs
5. Adrian Wilson (42), Arizona Cardinals
6. Antrel Rolle (34), New York Giants
T7. Michael Griffin (22), Tennessee Titans
T7. Brandon Meriweather (22), New England Patriots
9. Malcolm Jenkins (14), New Orleans Saints
10. Quintin Mikell (12), Philadelphia Eagles

Others receiving votes: Earl Thomas, Seahawks (9); Roman Harper, Saints (7); Jim Leonhard, Jets (5); Nate Allen, Eagles (4); Donte Whitner, Bills (4); Ryan Clark, Steelers (3); Thomas DeCoud, Falcons (3); Michael Huff, Raiders (2); LaRon Landry, Redskins (2); Bob Sanders, Chargers (2); Antoine Bethea, Colts (1).

I agree. If I'm not mistaken, Barry, Wilson and Rolle were all ranked ahead of Collins in the players' poll of the Top 100. That list is a joke.

I can agree if you discount guys for injury (inavailability). If not then Bob Sanders jumps to #4 IMO. He is absolutely the best run support safety I have ever seen.

Collins is about where he should be IMO. Reed's time there is limited. Troy might be at the top for a while based on how Pitt uses him

Reed might be retired this season.

I'm curious to see how Troy P recovers from last season's injury. Pitt tried to keep playing him as a rover bck there and he stunk out the joint in the SB. if he can't run, they will have to use him a lot differently. Berry is one of the best rookie safties I've ever seen.

Micheal Griffin is a top hand who doesn't get enuff credit.

Nick might well be on top of the mountain next season. Nick still short circuits in the brain every once in awhile and completely blows his cover. Those moments are getting fewer and far between.

Collins at this point is better then Reed. Collins is at an all-pro level just without the name recognition he deserves.
