Sam seems pretty excited about winning the Super Bowl.

Sweet. I hope he's planning on adding more over the next few years.

Kinda smart. They can't take that away in a bankruptcy....or if you happen to kill your ex wife.

Best news is it means he'll probably never leave the Packers in free agency to sign with the Vikings or Bears.

Great tattoo but dumb location.

That's some serious dumb. I bet Sam has a tattoo of his first girlfriend's name somewhere on his bod. The girlfriend dumped him, and someday Ted Thompson will let him go too.

It's dangerous to put tattoos of transient things on your body. The same goes for your car. I was worried that I wouldn't be able to sell my Audi, but with the recent success of the Packers, I lucked out; It could have gone very badly.

I don't get it either. To me, tattoos need to be timeless, artistic, and about something paramount. He hit two of those at most.

Well, Sam will (hopefully) spend more years reminiscing about the Super Bowl win than he will as either a Bear or Viking even if they trade him tomorrow. And its not hurting the Badger's football coach too bad these days.

The championship is something he was a part of and will be with him forever but I don't agree with putting anything on that area. Otherwise it is a great tattoo.

For my part, I don't understand why these guys want to look like they got caught in a grafitti attack. Isn't it enough to wear the ring? Anybody could get a tatoo like that, but it wouldn't mean they one a Super Bowl. Put me down for overdone and ugly.

Maybe he lost his ring. Figured he can't lose a tattoo.

I'd like to see him put another one similar to it on the other side next year.

It's fortunate that he's a black guy. If he regrets the size, placement, or design of the tat (he probably will never regret what it represents) he can just let it fade and not touch it up and it will be practically invisible. That's one inherent advantage black people have over white people: they don't have to pay for tattoo removal.

That tat is going to look badass up close to the receivers with whom he's running stride for stride locked up and shutting down. No self-respecting NFL player can dis the World Championship without being trashed as a pathetic loser.
The "G" is slightly screwed up, at least for now. There are 14 diamonds on its face. Prophetic perhaps.

I think this is great! You can't take that away from him and considering his story, it is cool. Your world championship can't ever leave you or run off with your best friend. So it is timeless.

Wow, not sure what to say...I guess he doesn't intend to play for any other team, ever? He is, after all, a UFA rookie with 6 starts.
It's some bad-ass ink for sure, but reminds me of the girl from Rock of Love who got a 'Brett' tat on her neck...the week before he tossed her off the show.

Well, he better be more than a one year wonder.
