Is there going to be such a thing as fantasy football or pick 'em this year? How are you guys supposed to have a draft when you don't know how any of the rookies are doing?

Zool kind of ran out of fantasy energy last season. I was thinking of starting a 12 team division in a couple weeks with the same rules as last year. Don't know how much interest there'll be since no one comes here anymore and there isn't any football yet.

we can have playoffs during the actual playoffs this year, if we get enough interest. I'll pay the fees if we get enough interest.

Fees for what? You want to use a different league?

That would make it more interesting. You could draft tomorrow.

we usually don't draft until the last week of preseason, so i don't think we'll miss anything there, but i guess we should start signing up and making divisions and what not

A good idea to either have one or two leagues of twelve

Not sure I'll sign up but I hope we have one.

I've tried to scale back to the big money New York League and one or two others against the locals

I've been absent for a while... dealing with some health problems that have laid me low. Feeling a little better now, but still weakened from my normal self. Strong enough to knock the wife up again though, lol... baby #2 due in Feb.

So had a lot going on... hopefully once the season starts, the others will trickle back in???

This is what we're hoping for.

No, but we used to do the playoffs manually during weeks 14 - 16.

There are leagues out there that operate during the real playoffs. The leaders re-draft using playoff teams. I do it in another league. If we have multiple leagues again, I'll pay for the stuff so we can do a real playoff without trying to do it manually.

That's what I meant.
