Eagles thinking about him as a backup to Vick after they trade Kolb.

Hope so. Philly is a contender, but the BF media circus might derail their season.

Call it a hunch, but I have a strong feeling about how this situation is going to play out.

Meet Amanda Grace, Eagles cheerleader. http://www.philadelphiaeagles.com/cheerleaders/Amanda%20Grace/fe9f5954-7f9f-4836-9488-a665dd9980cf

Most embarrassing moment: "My most embarrassing moment was a couple years ago when I was at the beach with my family. We were all in the water and the waves were really rough, one knocked me over and when I got up of course my top was no longer on my body. The worst part about it was that there was a whole group of boys that were on their senior week right at the water’s edge. Yes, they saw everything. I was mortified!!"

If Favre leaves home to play football this year, he may find that the locks on the house have been changed when he gets back.

How many times have we said things like this and she always puts up with whatever damned fool thing he comes up with next?

Is it possible for this guy to be a bigger national joke than he already has made himself to be?

I can see it all now. It's destiny. Another chapter in the phenomenal story of Brett Favre:

Favre signs a contract with the Eagles to be a backup.
Favre comes quietly to camp and plays little.
The season goes on without Favre playing.
Vick credits Favre with helping him see the game differently.
The Eagles reach the playoffs.
The Eagles win.
The Packers win.
The Eagles and Packers meet for the NFC Championship at Lambeau Field.
The Packers pound Vick without mercy and lead by 17 in the 4th quarter.
Mathews knocks Vick out of the game.
Favre hands his cane to Andy Reid and stumbles into the game.
Favre leads the Eagles on a quick TD score.
Then another.
Less than two minutes remain, Eagles with the ball.
Favre moves them downfield into short field goal position with a minute remaining.
Plenty of time to go for the win and still settle for the tie.
Favre drops back, looks, finds a receiver and lofts a perfect pass.....to Charles Woodson!

I think the Jenn Sterger fiasco may have changed things though.

I would be honored to have Brett Farve as a backup. That will be amazing Learning how to toy with defenses the way he did his whole career.

Sheezus.

If real, this is enough to make a goat puke.

Funny post, P.

If he wasn't willing to mentor his backups, what makes Vick think he's going to mentor the one person keeping him out of the game...?

I missed this while paying attention to baseball. It won't happen again.

Did anyone watch the ESPY's? Seth Meyers was doing the monologue and said "Aaron Rodgers is here tonight! Yes...Aaron finally got out of the shadow of Brett Favre by winning the Super Bowl and becoming Super Bowl MVP. And thanks to advanced cell phone technology, we learned that shadow isn't as big as we once thought." LOL

Thank heavens for the phrase, "Never mind, sweetie. Grown up joke." I wouldn't want to have to explain what I was just laughing at.

Sending a woman a picture of his alledged penis is the least of Deanna Favre's worries about her husband.

Ok...I just had a thought. Since Flynn is going to be a Free Agent next year and his trade value is high...why not trade him now and get a high pick out of him and sign Favre to back up Rodgers? LOL! ;)

OK, I'll bite. What could be worse? He's given up pain meds and alcohol. Addiction to fart jokes? Or attention? Or are you differentiating between attempted adultery and successful adultery?

I wonder if Favre reads the rumors about himself and then gets interested in coming back?
