Time to start reviewing some of our new players and get fired up
this was a cool video of one of TT's draft picks.
This seventh rounder makes out team; take it to the Bank
Plenty of football instincts, intensity, and a love for the game obvious here

Ricky Elmore 6'5 260 pounds played at Arizona, part of the defense known as the Desert Swarm. He had 26 sacks in his career, most of which came his last two seasons when he was a full time starter. Also good at playing the run, can play DE on both sides in a 4-3 and has potential to be an olb in a 3-4.

Will definitely have to temper our expectations for a while, as all rookies will be way behind. Randall Cobb has the best chance to contribute early in my opinion. I look for MM to come up with some packages to feature him, although it will take awhile for him to learn the whole offense. His return ability could be an early asset. I'm hoping the Packers have come up with the kind of multi-threat I've been envious of when watching guys like Percy Harvin and DeSean Jackson. He doesn't quite have their explosive speed, but he does have Greg Jennings speed, which is good enough.

By the way, he's short, but not small. He has the ability to break tackles, and turn the short stuff into long gains.

I too can't wait to see this year's crop of rooks. I'll be heading up to training camp at some point. Love Cobb and Williams! I also agree Bretsky that Elmore's motor will land him a spot on this team. Williams seems to have everything that Quarless lacked last year.

I like Randall Cobb, could be a big contributor to special teams. Guy is a explosive and shifty in the open field.

These two guys are going to help Rodgers win the MVP next season.

I agree and I've never seen much in Quarles. To me Williams look way more fluent in his route running and ability to catch the ball

Quarless struggled at times, but I don't think the Packers will give up on him. I see the Packers keeping 4 TE's/HB's again. Finley, Crabtree (best blocker), Williams and Quarless will be a good group.

yup....I'd think they will surely keep 4 TE's this year..............and hopefully two FB's

Like you said Joe, it'll take time for the rookies to work their way into some playing time, but I think Williams will ultimately outwork and outperform Quarless.
