2 more roster spots - likely for guys like Hall, Kuhn and Wilhelm

Not a shocker. I hope both catch on somewhere. Harrell's back has had two years now to heal up, so maybe, just maybe, the guy will be able to stay healthy.
But probably not.

I was hoping Harrell would stick one more year and be able to make it through and contribute. :(

So was I. I will really be disappointed if he catches on someplace else and dominates.

The answer to the Harrell question is just under $700,000 in cap room saved. His option bonus was obviously guaranteed.
Poppinga had a cap number of 2.5 mi, not sure what acceleration he had.
Wilde says to more to fave chopping block today. EDIT - that is wrong. Wilde knew there were two more but the two were apparently Popp and Harrell.

I was hoping they'd let him compete with Jarius Wynn, Guy, and Wilson. But I guess not.

hate to see the guy flame out. I still remember the shock when the pick was announced and the anger afterwards, but the guy's determination and stamina turned me into some sort of twisted cheerleader. Hated the pick, but wanted him to succeed anyhow.
I hope he makes it somewhere. Someone will give him a chance, I'd think.

He clearly had the physical tools to play well minus the ability to stay on the field.
He could be back at the vet minimum. Would earn him a close to his bonus and be cheaper from the cap point of view. He isn't going to generate a ton of interest.

Honestly, I really hope so. I hope they give him a minimum contract offer.

I hope he comes into camp on a vet minimum as well. From his interviews you can tell he really wants to contribute and knows he hasn't even come close to living up to what he has been paid.

maybe the packers can resign Harrell. He has as good of a shot to make the Packer roster as other teams, the Packer D-line is not deep. Also, the coach's have stayed positive on the guy.
