I thought this would be his last year here and it's starting to look more and more like that will come true.

He looked old the last five games of last season. I was hoping it was just due to the fact they were out of the playoff race and all that. Al doesn't have much speed to lose anyhow so it's concerning. No wonder he wanted to redo his contract over this past off-season. I don't think anyone's going to be redoing shit with this guy.

I know Harvey and I watched the same game because he was across the table from me.

I agree with him too..Harris didn't have a very good game although Rivers did play quite well which contributed..

I believe we are seeing the results of his inactivity with us till TC. He's paying a price for that, but he's a PRO.

I remain hopeful that he'll step up. Give it time.

GO PACKERS !

Al, don't get pushy about your contract just yet.

He got torched pretty good last night. Yes, it's the first preseason game. But he and CW better put some extra reps in at practice. They looked more than a step slow.

Do you think that Hariis threw the game because he's mad about his contract?

No way in hell.

He had pretty good coverage on a couple balls that were just thrown perfectly. A couple times he got burned on digs...but with his lack of top end speed, that is going to happen. He can't afford to get beat over the top.

However, the coaches should use this to remind him to stop worrying about his contract and start playing like the top flight DB he believes he is.

I'm holding out that he is a vet and doesn't give a shit, so he didn't try.

Sorry but I'm not buying in any way shape or form that Mr. Harris wasn't trying......it's early, no need to pull the alarm yet but I think you are fooling yourself if you think he didn't care.

I'm not saying he threw the game, but I'd say it'd be a fair bet that he wasn't playing like it was regular season.

He is if he really wants that contract redone. He is likely rusty from skipping every voluntary workout they had all offseason. But he just doesn't take games off like that. He's never done it before and there's plenty of reason for him not to start now.
