I thought that in a normal year you can't cut someone who is injured. Does that only apply if they got hurt on the job, so to speak, in a game or in TC? If there hadn't been a lockout and Chillar hurt his hammy in the offseason, would they have any obligation to him?

That is one think ILB corp right now. Chillar and Barnett are better than thin air. And its not much in coverage and TEs were the only pass option that killed the Packers last year.
