Didn't actually read this, just the headline, but that's hilarious. Clearly teams know the cap is going WAY up with the next round of TV contracts as some of these deals signed this year have been funny money.

Holy crap!!!

I thought Tampa had started to turn it around as a franchise but with this signing I think they show that the really are years away from being a dominant year in and year out organization.

They might have 2 year runs but will lose quality players because of the cap problems their punter will create in future years.

They have like $55 mil in cap space. I think they'll be fine.

If any part of that deal is for real, then other teams are going to be mad at the Bucs for spending their money like this. Because the cost of good punters will be going up.

Absolutely ridiculous. I assume most of it is not guarenteed and they jet from it with little penalty..but still, it raises a standard for the position in deals moving forward.
