"The Packers had at least four other injuries Saturday night. Defensive tackle Ryan Pickett hurt his finger; defensive tackle Kendarick Allen strained his side; tight end David Martin injured his hamstring; and running back Samkon Gado hurt his groin."

If he is out any length of time, his Packer career is history.

but we can't cut him if he's injured right. we would still have to pay his entire salary this year

The player can still be waived, but waived injured. The team reliquishes their rights in the player, but must continue to pay his salary until he is declared healthy. For many players that is not a season long situation.

Is he really getting paid much anyways?

More concerning is the Gado injury. Hasnt he been getting dinged up alot? The O is gonna need him more then some scrub TE. I thought he was gonna be the starter and now it seems like alot injuries are happening to him.

packers.com is reporting that martin only has a mild hand injury, same as pickett
