lol...Finley's funny. I agree with him...the Packers would beat the shit out of the Eagles. But...I'm not so sure the Eagles even make the playoffs. If Vick stays healthy, we'll meet them in the NFC Championship...but I believe Vick gets hurt in the middle of the season and they fall to pieces.

good lord, you talking the trash. Nobody's gonna be beating any feces in that game, the Packer barely won last time.

I see both teams as significantly improved over last year. Great match up.

The game was close in the end, but the Packers were a James Jones drop away from going up 21-0 and pretty much putting the game away in the first half.

Woodson had a great quote about the "Dream Team" the other day. It was something to the effect of "I only ever knew one 'Dream Team' and they had Jordan and Barkley... beat everybody by 40, there's no other Dream Team."

i don't have a problem with fin, other team leaders, or coaches, writing checks that they'll all have to work hard for to cash.

Yoop, as you acknowledge, you are certainly no BBall fan. Woodson is referring to the 1992 Men's Olympic BBall team, the first year out-of-the-closet pros were allowed to play.

The roster included, among others, Bird, Magic Johnson, Jordan, Barkley, and Ewing, as well as Pippen, Stockton, Robinson, and Malone. They won their games by an average of 40 points per game. To my knowledge, no team has ever dominated a sporting event quite like the 92 Men's team.

He was talking about the Dream Team, the 1992 U.S. Men's Olympic Basketball team which consisted of: Jordan, Magic, Bird, Barkley, Stockton, Malone, Drexler, Ewing, Pippen, Mullin, Robinson, and ... Laettner.

No team ever assembled in any sport has been as dominant as that team was in international competition. The point diffferentials in their matches were +68, +33, +43, +44, +41, +38, +51, and +32.

That is what a "Dream Team" looks like. The Philadelphia Eagles don't look a damn thing like that.

Lurker did a better job than I did of naming the team. I'll only add that of the 12, 11 made the NBA hall of fame. Only Laettner didn't, though he did have a great college career.

My KY golfing buddies still hate Laettner for beating UK in the NCAA with that last second shot. So he's got that goin' for him.

Da Mini-Ditkas would win, 70 tah 3, cause they benched da starters in da 3rd quarter.
