Great article about James Jones and Edgar Bennett:

Sounds like Jones was very serious about and worked very hard at correcting his dropped passes problem from last year.

Edgar Bennett has impressed me with his ability to get players ready to play when the Packers were forced to sign mid-season replacements and to take players' weaknesses and make them strengths, as he did with Jackson as a blocker. I am excited to see what he does with talented players like the Packers have at WR. My only regret is that he won't be working with Starks and Green, two young players who could benefit from his attention to detail.

It goes to what I used to say when criticizing MM for working indoors all week for an outdoor 10 below game. You execute what you practice and JJ has now practiced the over the shoulder catch all summer by his account. I expect it to show up on gameday.

A ball could hit Lester in the elbow and just get lost in all that goo.

I think they once found a family of 4 stuck to him one game.

Given how your previous concern eventually worked out (win versus Bears at Lambeau and Soldier and beating Philadelphia) I assume the result you expect to see is more drops?

And a tear away jersey. Then no one could stop Jones.

If concentration is Jones' problem and Bennett can fix that, his new contract will be a great deal for us. If he only dropped half of his sure touchdowns last year 3 games would have looked very different. When you factor in the drops which would have only been for big gains, our record would have looked much more like a typical SB champ.
Also if Jones becomes a sure threat, how much more space does Nelson have when safties are worring more about Jennings AND Jones?
What about the 3rd down running back lanes / routes when our 3 wide is Jennings, Driver and a sure handed Jones?
I hope Bennett can coach focus like Ritalin.

if Jones gets rid of the drops, he'll be renegotiating that bargain contract whose numbers nobody wants to speak out loud.

Yeah, after 2012! Haha! I'm hoping for this dilemma.
