From GBPG article about Edgar Bennett as a coach. Ball security is an obsession for him, which he passed on to his players.

In 20 games, playoffs included, the Packers’ running backs fumbled only three times, and in each instance the back who fumbled recovered the ball — John Kuhn twice and Brandon Jackson once.

I wonder if he could have made a difference with Ahman Green?

Sherman was tolerant of turnovers so I would say it may not have been stressed enough if he had coached then.

It might have worked anyway. McCarthy seems tolerant of WRs that put the ball on the ground and Bennett still got results.

"Ball security is an obsession for him."

What you're all missing here is that if this is the case then Edgar Bennett needs therapy.

It will be equally interesting to see if he can make a difference with how the receivers treat ball security. The RBs only had two fumbles last year but the receivers had a whopping 11. Cut down on those fumbles after catch and maintain security at other positions, and GB will be difficult to stop this year.
