I don't know if anyone caught it but Obama ripped Cutler at the end hahaha

Poor Cutler geez Louise. Well another republican voting Illinoisian. We'll take all we can get!

Woodson then presented Obama with a stock certificate making him a team shareholder. That gave Obama a chance to congratulate Rodgers — and take a shot at Bears quarterback Jay Cutler.
“If I’m a part owner,” Obama said, “I think we should initiate a trade to send Rodgers down to the Bears.”

I'm starting to feel sorry for the guy.

So Obama said that the Bears should trade for Rodgers......and then calls the Tribune to say that he meant Rodgers would be Cutler's backup. Suuuuuuuuuurrrrrreeeee

I see Tauscher made the trip, but Cullen and B-Jack weren't there. Were any other non Packers that were with them last year at the White House today? Was Colledge, Chillar or Barnett there?

No. And I think Tauscher was there only because he hasn't signed with anybody else.

i wonder what the response would have been if it was rodgers instead of woodson who called him a "Minority Owner"?

I'm surprised Obama didn't try to pass regulations on Packer stock...

Saw an article saying College wasn't invited, and was disappointed.

I'm a little surprised they took the current Packers instead of the team that won the title.

Why are the Packers still taking hits for players unable to attend the White House ceremony?

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2011/08/15/daryn-colledge-disappointed-packers-didnt-invite-him-to-white-house/

Colledge is now getting a forum to complain, and PFT agrees.

But here is Mickey Loomis, the GM for the Saints confirming that some players will not be able to attend because the Saints voluntarily scheduled the visit in August. Did anyone hear one peep of complaint about the poor former Saints players who missed out?

"We suspect Colledge will get criticized in Green Bay for whining"

Yes. He will. Because he is.

I'm more curious about what the 'norm' is. Have other teams brought players that were moving on? Maybe the lockout screwed with the schedule that much?

I understand there's a limit to how much you include guys, and when you move on. Guys like Colledge are included in all of the stuff that is obviously related to the SB - the infamous photo, the rings and ring ceremony, whatever else went on.

The White House visit is obviously related to the SB, but not so much an official event.

The lockout had a lot to do with it. Most teams visit in early spring before they've had the chance to move on to other teams.

Does anyone know where the list of SB Ring Recipients can be found?
