Not who is going to win the SB but who do you think goes from easy mark on the schedule to oh crap we have to play them. I am going with the Redskins.

Titans, Browns, and Redskins are the likely suspects.

I'm actually thinking the Jaguars have that chance. Fairly weak division and no one expects them to be any good since they cut Garrard.

Lions, Rams, Texans, and the Buccaneers

Falcons and Bucs. Falcons for falling off. Bucs for coming on!

Oh, and the Bears are going to have a worse record, but be a little better team. But that isn't a surprise, since they won't play half their schedule this year against backup quarterbacks. Psssh!

If you know now it is not a surprise.

I'm still waiting to be surprised.

I have a hunch that Hasslebeck will make the Titans a lot better and win that division.

Can we count them as a surprise anymore? Everybody is picking them.

I dont know lets see how the Bears look today. Surprise for them would be if they made the playoffs. Bears need to free fall for that to happen.

Lions. They have a tough schedule, but they were damn good down the stretch last year and they have some important players coming back along with Nick Fairley who should be a great fit next to Suh.

If you are saying the Lions as a surprise then you are picking them for the playoffs.

The Lions seem to be everbody's surprise team in the media......this doesn't make them much of a surprise anymore.

Fear the RAMS !!!

I wont fear the rams, but they will get a playoff spot.
My suprise team will be the Jets not making the playoffs and only being .500, also I think Carolina will suprise me if they do better than 2 - 14.

Ok, I concede that Detroit isn't a huge surprise, since they're the media darling. Given their history though, I'd still be surprised if they actually converted. Houston probably fits into that category as well, with the trouble in Indi, they're the pick to win that division.

I don't see many other teams with the potential to jump forward. My pick for a surprise team would be Altanta falling back and not making the playoffs. Tampa and NO can both beat them.

Tennessee could do well this year, they have a happy CJ, and if Hasselbeck can be the game manager guy who doesn't screw up and keeps the defense honest, they can score some points. I have no idea what their D is like though.

My hope is that the Lions - who are kicking Tampa's ass today - will start reading all the press clippings. They've been annointed.
