What in the happy hell is going on? Every time I pass by the TV, someone's turning the ball over.

Pretty crazy game. It's funny, you think about how on 3rd and long why not just throw a bomb and if it's picked off it was like a punt anyway. In this case, it would have been better! Something to think about I suppose.

No $ Dez has shot his load....did he get wacked earlier in the game or does he just need to work on his conditioning?

He was in for cramping earlier and doesn't seem to have his top gear.

Very sloppy plus punt block.

I keep watching this Jets/Cowboys game, and I have no idea who I want to win. Why can't the NFL have a "double-loss" option?

Give Goddell a couple more years and that just might be another new rule.

AFC says not so fast NFC East.

How did they blow that game? Jets still are beleaguered on offense.

Rex called that coverage on Revis' pick a trap coverage (so did Revis). Would love to have a definition for that. I'm guessing its a look that shows no safety help and 1 on 1 CB coverage.

On the replay it showed the safety WAY inside and at the snap he bails very wide and deep. Revis covers under the route (trail coverage?).

That is all well and good, but that throw was right at Revis. If its a trap, you would expect the throw to be short after driving the CB of the shorter routes. But Bryant didn't run that route and Revis said he threw the fade.

Any ideas?

Winners win.....losers lose....

Our softball team always use to say this after we had a tough loss and people started making excuses.

ROMO....My best example of a guy who made all the wrong calls against the Jets to lose.

Fumble at the goal line
followed
by a terrible INT

Along with the punt block he gave away the game. I've always felt the winners do all of the little things people don't notice to win....>Brady...winner...Rodgers....winner....
Romo...loser

and I'm not even bringing out his drop of a winning FG in the playoffs

Joemailman

I thought it looked like a very lazy route by Dez. Not really a route at all. That said, Dez had nothing late in the game and wasn't going to beat Revis.

Hard to argue for Romo in this game, but what did Sanchez do to win the game? After the Revis INT, he drove the team backwards for the FG try. There is always more to the story than winners and losers. Otherwise, there would be no reason to watch, coach or play. We would all play checkers.

romo took the blame. said he cost them the game.

Romo just doesn't seem like a guy with a ton of desire to me. He likes playing football and probably doesn't even mind working at it a little, but I don't think he has the true devotion to do what it takes to be a winner. That is ultimately what separates the winners from the mediocre.

I think the jury is still out on Sanchez. He has gone to the AFCC twice, so he can't be doing everything wrong. He sort of reminds me of Romo, though. He might like doing a GQ photoshoot more than in-depth film study of opposing defenses.

romo's got plenty of desire i think and gives his all. it's just that he fucks up a lot. he and sanchez can't be trusted at this point.

Sanchez isn't all that good and has limitied potential in my mind. Like Flacco early in his career, he's been saved by a great defense and running game. If the Jets had an elite QB, they'd be the favorite to win the Super Bowl.

Flacco looked pretty good vs the Steelers yesterday, he might be ready to jump up a notch.

I agree with Harv. I just don't think Sanchez is all that good. He's in a system that protects him from having to do too much, and he still can barely do what's asked.

Brady is having a hell of a night. Over 500 yards, 4TDs 1INT.

Heck of a ballsy play just now. Miami went for it on 4th and goal (inches), and turned it over. Brady throws out of the endzone with Miami blitzing and single coverage. He hits Welker in stride who goes 99 yards for the TD.

Henne is playing great as well, but his 400yards 2TD/0INT night is just not working out for Miami.

Did they set the record for most combined passing yards in a game?

The announcers mentioned that it was the 5th game this week where both QB's were over 300 yards. Lots of defenses asleep this week, wonder if that trend will continue.
