View Full Version : How many players around the league done for year?

Seemed like a lot of injuries yesterday...I was wondering how many players around the league have seen their season end on opening week-end.

Eric Berry (KC)
Jon Beason (Car)
Luis Castillo (SD) (not official)
Nate Keading (SD)

Is that it? Seemed like I kept hearing about it, maybe it was just the media repeating themselves?

I think you hit all the high notes. I'd add Terrance McGee CB (Bills). He's out indefinitely. Might not be season-ending though.

Starting CB for the Rams Ronald Bartell has two small fractures in his neck, obviously putting his season in doubt.

Danny Amendola dislocated elbow.

He might not be out for the whole season, but I cut him from my fantasy team if ya want him.

Is that why he's on the trading block?

it would be interesting to see if the total amount of injury's are up this yr. with the shortened training camp and the easier work outs at train camp thats what the owners always said they needed the long and grueling training camps for was to get the players into playing shape

I really doubt it. Players train year round, and the spring football doesn't get anybody into "game shape."

I wish they would have a lockout until August every year, I think this has worked out great. Spring football is unnecessary and a giant bore.

Just a little help with language, Euro Rat: Dead to me. All Viking QBs are dead to me. Now that would have been some big funny.

I think all Viking quarterbacks play like they're dead.

Let's stop the jabbering and get back to the serious work of recording season ending injuries. The Browns put P Richmond McGee on IR.

I think you're being rather charitable.

Confirmed. He is done for the year, but looking to come back.

But which broken collar bone turned out to be just bruised yesterday? At least according to the coach.

Richmond McGee, Browns punter to IR with back injury

Browns signed Brad Maynard.

Mike Neal (or Cullen Jenkins for that matter) has nothing on Willie Colon. Steelers starting Right Tackle place on IR for a torn triceps.

Jamon Meredith, former Packer hopeful, added to the roster. Marcus Gilbert gets the job.

C'mon, blue dog is handing out woofs of wisdom. He's throwing funny bones to ye old Euro flea bag; it's even better than getting free doggy bags from the grand Peking Duck House in NY. With that said: Europe is still "the puppy master" of ye faithful puppy nation!
