The one position the Packers might have a body to offer for trade, and the Giants are said to be looking.

Of course, this is PFT talking about talk that surfaced after COughlin complained about his run defense. Use with caution.

Ted Thompson has actually said that he'd trade one of our DTs if we end up in a situation where we're not sure who to keep.

Here's the quote from the article:

Given injuries and other variables, Thompson was skeptical that any team could have six defensive tackles worth retaining by the end of August. If that proves to be the case in Green Bay, Thompson indicated that a trade made sense.

Good one

TT needs to find veteran help at OT pronto (a la a Bruce Wilkerson pick-up). Move Orange Junius back to OG back-up. Do it now. Its too risky to wait until roster cuts happen. DT is probably the carrot we can afford to dangle around the league..

How about Bob Whitfield? The Giants might be willing to part with him. They have some younger guys, Whitfield is a backup now, and he is almost ready to collect Social Security

Bob Whitfield. Bruce Wilkerson. BW. Karma baby. Super Bowl. Of course, it might mean Clifton going down in a heap, but in 4 years Spitz will get too much money from the Rams.
