Lions look just as bad on offense as they have for a decade. One of their games was at home and the other at Tampa, which can't sell out. Could it be the noise in the Humptydome?

In other news, Texans look very good on both sides of the ball, but can't cash in enough on offense and have allowed the Saints to stay close despite an awful start by them.

Saints defense has some of the same holes as we saw to start the season.

Iggles still playing a lot of barnyard ball. If it wasn't for LeSean McCoy they'd be in tough shape.

Maybe this is a game that knocks the Lions back down to real life.

Schaub just bounced a pass off a defender, it bounced and Walters caught it for a TD. Just hysterical to watch. Should have been an INT and there was a NO penalty on the play as well.

Titans winning if they make the PAT.

MIN has called the most retarded plays all day

I am puzzled how a team with Adrian Peterson in his prime can continually fuck up the easiest play calls. In brief watching of the game I saw a 3rd and 1 and a 4th and 1 that they should just hand off to Peterson, but instead let McNabb throw (man is he bad) and Toby Gerhardt try from 4th and 1. Just stupid.

Knew KC was in trouble when their coach nearly had a seizure on the field because of how pissed off he was...in the 4th PRESEASON game. Granted, dumb mistakes at that point should cause frustration, but I figured the players would be tuning this guy out by week 3 after the hissy-fits he threw that would be hard for a two year old to match for intensity.

Apparently it happened even sooner.

I can't believe first of all that Leslie Frazier let his team make that fourth down go-for-it call for him. He'd actually sent Schlongwell onto the field, but Adrian Peterson waved the field goal team off. And Frazier let him.

Then he compounded the mistake by not giving the ball to his future hall-of-fame, all-pro running back - who was the guy who led the charge in sending the field goal team back to the sideline. At least Frazier could have called a time-out, called Peterson over, and said "Listen, f-ck head, if you're going to make a big scene about going for it, then I'm going to give you the ball and you damn well better get the first down."

Or Frazier could've done the right thing and just kicked the field goal. Think about it: Even if the Queens made the first down, they were still about, what, twenty yards away? This Vikings team can make a boat load of mistakes in twenty yards.

What a dumb-looking team that Vikings team is. And how pathetic does Donovan Mcnabb look? Wow.

I think Donovan McNabb looks bad because he's a past-his-prime QB playing for a declining team. He's average at this point.

Harlan Huckleby
09-26-2011, 07:52 PM
the Vikings problem is not McNabb. He's obviously not an accurate passer, but his recievers gave him no help. That was mostly a defensive collapse.
