We're less than 24 hours away ! Badgers Undefeated. Brewers advance in playoffs. Packers Undefeated...what a year !

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VpFITa9eYoQ

GAME ON, and this will be a GREAT GAME. And unlike last week's half ass effort from te Game Day Author, today I'm bringing my A game with a guarantee along with some detailed stats showing why PR will be in turmoil tomorrow night.

From Atlanta's perspective, they still feel the bitter asskicking from the playoffs. It' all about one word for them, whether they admit it or not......REVENGE. This will be their goal

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nD5zjUbWpXY

Truth be told, they've been waiting for this game and when they traded much of their draft for Julio Jones, they were trying to send the message that they can outscore the Green Bay Packers.

And they will. Against the Lowly Broncos AND at home, da Pack game up 6.9 yds per play and 384 yards to Kyle flippng Orton, Brandon Lloyd, and some other pedestrian WR's we made look very good.

Then again, we seem to be making evey offense look good. Consider these Anti Homer Facts even further.

4 Games..GB has given up 1628 yds....this is on pace for 6508 (2nd worst of alltime behind a 2-14 team in 81)
4 Games..1343 Net Yards Passing......this is on pace for 5372...which would shatter the NFL record of 4541
Packers have given up 97pts............this is on pace for 388.......4th worse in Packer History

THINK WE MISS NICK COLLINS...CULLEN JENKINS........AN OLB OPPOSITE THE CLAYMAKER WHO CAN SPELL PASS RUSH ?

And tomorrow we play a team that is HUNGRY.......with the best pair of WR's we have faced this year.....coupled with a future Hall of Fame TE who can still ball.

Here is what we can expect...........SHOOTOUT...........GB will move the ball at will but it's going to be a wild environment and tough to play at......GB will have at leas one fatal turnover.

On Defense, expect more of what we've seen all year. This is how we play defese !!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iCrqauVkP3Y
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EFedwhDB4M4

Time to piss in your Kool Aide Rats. Da Falcons are going to make the Packers D look like they're wearing panties. This one will get ugly, Profanity will be unleashed, and for th 799th time in the past three years Red will ask Why in the Hell is Bush still on this football team.

I'm giving the famous Iron Clad Guarantee.

Falcons Win.........Take it to the Bank

Packers kick the shit out of the Falcons in a game that is over at halftime. Rodgers CAN perform like a superstar all season, and finally passes for 5 TD's.

Come on, we are too talented for this porous of a pass defense thus far. The correction begins today. Pack by 4 in a shoot out.

Do whatever you did for the playoff game and not what you did for the reg season game!

Yeah, I was at both the games. I have this green t-shirt from work with a hole in it that I've been wearing underneath a Mathews jersey since the 10 game winning streak started. My wife's been trying to throw it out but I think she now knows that could be grounds for divorce.

The regular season loss I wore my Packers t-shirt that I also wore for the Redskin and Lions losses (while watching on TV of course). I now wear that on Saturdays only so no more worries.

Packers inactives (http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/rapid-reports/post/15675845)
Here is the list of Packers inactive players for Sunday’s game against the Broncos: RB Ryan Grant (http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/rapid-reports/player/411639/ryan-grant) (kidney), S Nick Collins (http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/rapid-reports/player/551584/nick-collins) (neck), LB Jamari Lattimore (http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/rapid-reports/player/1621529/jamari-lattimore) (shoulder), LB Frank Zombo (http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/rapid-reports/player/559515/frank-zombo) (scapula), LB Brad Jones (http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/rapid-reports/player/1674123/brad-jones) (hamstring), T Bryan Bulaga (http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/rapid-reports/player/1243680/bryan-bulaga) (knee) and DE Mike Neal (http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/rapid-reports/player/564095/mike-neal) (knee).

Would like to see Bulaga back, of course, but I think Grant is the one we'll miss. Let's see how Green does this week.

I thought this was the week we expected Neal back? Wasn't it week 5?

I have a feeling we'll give up some points today.... but we'll score a shit ton more. Falcons 2ndry will be widely exposed and Arod will bust out the belt for all the jealous Falcons fans (Brent included). I think CMIII will get a few sacks today with Zombo back in action. Finley will get another TD and Grant will get almost 100.

Nothing listed for inactives yet. But McGinn has reported:
Linebacker Frank Zombo and tackle Bryan Bulaga won't play Sunday night when the Green Bay Packers meet the Atlanta Falcons at the Georgia Dome. Zombo participated in practice all week on a limited basis but the medical staff will give his broken scapula another week. Coach Mike McCarthy is optimistic about Zombo's availability for St. Louis on Oct. 16.

The only way Grant gets 100 today is if he plays Madden on the sidelines. ;) He's not playing today....Starks will start.

Since I'm basically watching the minutes and the Jets game go by until the Pack game is on, I guess I'll take some picks on the game.

Pack - 31
Falcons - 17

Finley - 137 yards, 2 TD
Matthews - 2 sacks, FF
Starks - 74 Yards
A-rod - Amazing like always

Packer inactives - House, Collins, Zombo, Bulaga, Quarless, Neal, So'oto.

Those guys can play if you could get them on the field.

Abraham out for the Falcons. That's gonna hurt.

Why is So'oto out? I thought he was getting back. Abraham being out seriously hurts the Atlanta defense. I'd be picking the Packers in a high scoring game anyway but with him out the possibilities of the running game being set up well by the passing game might make it impossible for Atlanta to ever have the ball! Packers 38 Falcons 10.

vince
10-09-2011, 06:44 PM
Falcon center Todd McClure is out. That hurts too.

I'm guessing So'oto is out because Lattimore is a better special teamer. I'd like to see him get some snaps too. Not tonight.

I've been wondering about this. I think TT is hesitant to pay someone who won't really help the team realistically given the contracts and money he will need yet this year (finley and wells).

That was a nice play design to keep Matthews off the RB on the shovel pass. Prevented the same stuff that happened to them last year on short yardage to Turner.

Jenkins to Wynn is a stellar downgrade in terms of constency of penetration and pass rush
Tyrone Williams has an injured shoulder; he has a hard time jamming WR's at the line as he's so good at and is not playing much above average
Sam Shields is still not at all consistent......we miss Nick Collins........those three pts make Woodsen less effective at what he does best......roaming, anticipating...making huge plays
