And the Packer Nation is flashing with confidence. The while national media loves us to the point of assuming we're going to win nearly each week and measuing the other successful teams up to the State of the Packers.

And that is some scary territory.

We're hit hard iwth injuries on the OL and it wasn't too long ago that the Rams head coach was considered the top Defensive Coordinator in all of fooball. And we're playing a Ram team that most thought were on the cusp of a playoff footballl team last year whose star RB should be about full stength again.

Expect a nice load of Stephen Jackson, and expect Bradford to mix the run and pass well enough to expose the saftety position and the injury of Morgan Burnett. On offense, Spagnola will find holes in that OL and find ways to get his team to hit AROD and hit him Often. The offense will be off balance, and the defense will not get in a rhythym. Upset Special Baby. The Packer overlooks the Rams and they spank us.

offense outright sucked in the second half. I didn't see the time of possesion, but it seems like the Rams always had the ball. Defense really stepped up when they needed to. It sucks that the Packers Defense keeps giving up big yards to mediocre teams, but as long as they keep winning, I'll take it.

Coaches obviously shouldn't let their emotions get the best of them like that, I if I was Schwartz, I'd have been pissed too at that kind of hand shake after the game. Does it seem to anyone else that Hawk is playing with more fire than years past? The flying finger is a pretty extreeme example but it just seems like he is more emotional on the field than I remember him being in prior seasons.

Hawk told JSO that he was making the gesture to a few teammates and did not intend for it to be caught by cameras and he apologized.

Odd though, that he didn't realize he would be on camera after a sack. He must need more practice for his sack celebration.

Was at the game today with my daughter. 2nd quarter was a thing of beauty. Dropped picks on both sides today. The 2nd half was pretty boring since the offense kind of got bogged down. Rodgers avoiding the rush today was fun to watch. Too bad it was Al Harris getting burned by Nelson's TD. Got caught cheating toward the backfield.
Defense was pretty vanilla today.

The second half of the schedule looks to be a lot tougher than the first half. We have Chargers, NYG, Raiders, Lions twice, Bears, Vikings twice, and the Chiefs. We have to beat the Vikings and get to 7-0 and then use the bye week to gear up for round two. The way we are playing right now I wish are bye wasn't until week 10. I would love to see how the defense looks with Neal back, but he's soft so I doubt we will see him any time soon.
