Angela Rypien (yes, Mark Rypien's daughter) showed she also has what it takes to be under center. She threw three touchdown passes in a 42-8 win over the expansion Green Bay Chill, coached by former Packer Gilbert Brown.



Well, it seems like this league will outlast the UFL, who was just sued by one of their top executives to recover his salary.

My dad and I watched the Green Bay Chill lose their first game probably a month and a half ago by now (I think it was August?). The worst thing about this league is that the games aren't even broadcast in HD, so you have to watch them in low quality stretched across the screen.

I say this strictly to support GB football and no other reason. . . at all. Really, I mean it. Just about the football.

So how does one become a tackling dummy in this league? Once again just supporting GB football, nothing else.

No, the other GB football team. The one with the players that don't wear hip or thigh pads because their uniform doesn't include pants. I don't think any of us ordinary citizens would volunteer to be a tackling dummy for Clay Matthews and Desmond Bishop.

These girls really do knock the shit out of each other. This "sport" is wierd, but I like it. I first saw of this on one of my scuba diving forums. There are perverts on diving forums that make Skin look like an Eagle scout. Naturally there were a ton of posts about LFL on the dive forums when it first came out.

It's a strange mixture, football and titillation, etc.

Looks like Toronto has a team. Thought it would be neat to catch a game...but was surprised to see tickets going for $100 each! I can catch a Bills game for that price. Seemed pretty steep to me, a Marlies (junior hockey) game at the same venue is $40.

I read that they attracted 1800 fans for their opener, and were hoping for 2000. The venue they were at holds 8000, you have to think they'd be better served by charging half that, and hoping to draw double the crowd? I don't know what market saturation for this sort of an event would be, but you have to think it's more than 1800 (Toronto is over 5 million...)

Send me the schedual, I am in waterloo (jsut west of toronto for everyone else) the first week of nov. If they have a home game i am going. I will do this strickly for reporting on the quality of the game.
