Easiest money earned in the NFL last week-end was by Dave Rayner.

He was signed as an emergency replacement for Janikowski. He took the opening kick-off, and Oakland's O proceeded to lay a goose egg...so he didn't kick again all game! For this, he got a game check which should be around $40K!

Janikowski is expected back after the bye week, so Rayner was cut after the game. This likely occurred during his walk back to the locker room. No word on if they let him go in and change, or if the team will send someone to his house to pick up the uni!

not bad for 15 seconds of work.

More like 45 seconds or even a minute if you count putting the ball on the tee, backing up, putting his arm in the air to signal he was going to go into his motion...

I'm surprised OWS didn't kill him.

2 games with his veterans minimum is like a year of practice squad money.
