Sad to hear news like this about a great Packer. I pray for him as he deals with this unfortunate situation.

It gives those of us in his age range pause to remember that we don't know what lies ahead for us.

my 70+ year old boss was just diagnosed with this. his symptoms are exactly like Greggs. shuffling steps, slight tremors, soft voice.

Well, he was a little shaky as the Packers' coach.

Sad news. Parkinson's is a nasty disease and robs people of their freedom and dignity. I'd bet that the NFL lineman of yesteryear who dealt with numerous concussions from head slaps and poor equipment have a much higher incidence of Parkinson's than the general public.

Forrest is Exhibit A why the league is finally taking head injuries seriously. I read somewhere that Gregg said there were a couple of instances when he couldn't remember what happened in games. He said one time he awoke with a ice pack on his neck!
