I got an e-mail from a Minnesota relative wishing us holiday greetings. In the first paragraph she mentioned how things have changed since last year. Last year they had a lot of snow and the Metrodome collapsed. This year they've had no snow and the Vikings collapsed.

ralphie's dad was a bear fan...and, as we all know, kids are brainwashed by their dad's to follow their chosen teams...unless, like me, your father had absolutely no interest in sports what so ever. so this truth makes ralphie a bear fan.

Ah, the rose colored memories of a Viking fan. As my soon-to-be wife said last year: The Vikings collapsed almost as spectacularly as their dome!

It was fun to watch.

I still love the video and bagging Vikings in general, but I miss Rastak and Golf, our ex-resident Vikings fans and their really objective contributions greatly. I sincerely wish they's return. Packer Rats was enriched by having non-trolling rival fans posting, IMHO.

Haven't seen or heard from Rastak since he left the board. I miss his presence here too, very solid guy. I don't have his contact info.
