At home against division rivals both the Raiders and Broncos looked pathetic. The Chargers, the best team in the West, struggled for 1/2 a season and will cost their coach his job, rightfully so.

Freudian Slip?

Deion Sanders on the NFL Network, “The Dallas Cowboys defense, especially on the back end, has been erotic.”

Of course he meant, “erratic” but it was funny nonetheless. Maybe he’s missing the locker room.

I don't know if it's a Freudian slip as much as Sanders being an idiot who's trying to sound intelligent.

A bit like when Mike Tyson tried to use the word "peripatetic" in a sentence and it came out sounding like "pair of potatoes" "Peripatetic" was a very ambitious multi-syllabic word for Mr. Tyson to attempt and I think he read his "script" incorrectly.

I'm rooting for Cowboys as G-Men are tougher. But sending the Lions to the Saints might be a blessing in disguise. I don't think the Lions can beat the Packers easily. But given a second shot at the Saints, it might be interesting. They nearly got it back in the first game.

Well, it looks like the Packers will play the winner of DET-NYG. :(

NYG is a cold weather team that has already beaten a Packer team at Lambeau in January. Detroit is a team that lost to the Packers Varsity team today, but there's an old saying: It's hard to beat a team 3 times in a season.

Remember sweeping the Vikings 34-31 in both regular season gmaes in 2004 only to lose in the WC round? The infamous Moss-mooning? Yeah, see. this is why I worry.

The Packers have given Detroit based Cheeseheads reasons to gloat today, but should they knock over the NYG next week, I will not be a happy bunny. If NYG win, I will not be a happy bunny either.

So for two weeks, I will be an unhappy bunny - starting.......................................... ..............NOW!

How bad is it for you if your name is Carson Palmer? Never in the tornament with your old team. Retire publicly, cause you've lost belief. Get traded at the last minute. Contend needing only 1 W for your first playoff sighting. You lose and on top of that, your old team, the team you said would never make it, they get in.

i just threw that out there considering the hype and expectations. for a third (or 4th) round pick or later...good, for a first rounder...not so much. only his second year though. he had a pretty good year this year...numbers wise.
