California, you're slipping! Where's the playoff picture? I want to know if we are still in control of....oh, you know.

Actually, I'm mostly interested in knowing what the top of the draft looks like, and why Indi got the top pick over St-L.

They sucked worse. There's a suckability index that factors in such things as quality of beer available in the state, availibility of prostitutes, the average age/arm length/pad level of each offensive lineman, number of off-the-field incidents for each team, and the "Lackadaisical Index," which measures how much each team quit. I believe Tampa Bay was ahead in that particular category.

I for one am happy stl didnt get the top pick. All of the draft picks they would have gotten would make them a much better team, and there is enough competition in the nfc right now. Also I like small market teams doing well and indy's fan support would probably crumple if they are not competitive for a couple years.

I think Indy getting the top pick over St. Louis means Indy had an easier schedule.

As for the top of the draft, everyone has Luck going to Indy. St. Louis and Indy have picks 2-3. A lot of people think those picks will be WR Justin Blackmon and OT Matt Kalil, or vice versa. QB Robert Griffin III could then go to Cleveland, with RB Trent Richardson going to TB.

The other day, I was shaking my head over Vick Ketchman over at Packers.com. In fairness, I post this nugget from that column:

Robbie from Elburn, IL

What one word would you use to describe each team in the NFC playoffs?

Lions—young; Falcons—underrated; Giants—powerful; Saints—explosive; 49ers—physical; Packers—poised.

Delivering that early Mock right on time mailman! It's Minny @ 3, you don't think they take Griffin there? St-Louis may go with him as well, of course, giving up on the last of the draft windfall winners (no more of those monster contracts like Bradford got as the #1 pick).

Dark horse theory that I've seen is Peyton going to the Jets to make way for Luck!

NFL.com, ESPN, and other sites have the draft order, including the ties. It is over a hundred days away.
The earliest the Packers can draft is 27th the latest is 32nd. There is more to the playoffs than that.

The last couple weeks of the season most websites had the playoff picture.

Appreciate the thought but with the Packers one top most of the season not that many took interest in the threads.

Super Bowls Odds?

Packers 9-5

Saints 9-2

Patriots 4-1

49'ers 11-1

Steelers 11-1

Ravens 15-2

Giants 18-1

Falcons 35-1

Lions 40-1

Texans 40-1

Broncos 50-1

Bengals 65-1

No so, Cali. I 4 1, loved the breakdown of the tiebreakers you always did.

According to the spread: Saints, Broncos, Texans, Giants. Without the spread, Saints, Patriots, Ravens, ???

I would bet: 49ers, Pats, Ravens, Packers.

All the 49ers fans are worried badly about their matchup.

I would be, too, if my team's QB were Alex Smith.

2 for 2 so far.

I think this is the weekend the pretenders go home.

Without Mario and Shaub, Houston is in trouble. And hopefully the Pack will show that NY really was a 9-7 team.

I took NO, NE, HOU, GB in the office pool. HOU was my underdog pick for the week. I almost took SF instead.
