Someone asked that and according to Wilde, no he does not. I suspect one other Rodgers vote would be Mike Silver from Yahoo! He has got to back his fellow Cal alum.

I think A-Rod wins it going away. He has the stats and was off only one Sunday (with several drops by the receivers to boot). Doing it while being hit and sacked 36 times is incredible. One of the greatest seasons ever.

On the other hand, padding or not, Brees had an amazing statistical year. New all time records for yards and completion percentage, leadership and near record in TD throws. He crushed the yardage record.

My gut (and heart) says Rodgers, and I can generate a list of reasons. Brees' backers can do the same for him, and it is hard to argue against their list. I have to fall back on those who should know best, the ex-NFL QBs; and most that I have heard seem to back Rodgers.

One guy said he was switching his vote based on that, but there is no confirmation nor has anyone else come forward to say it did, finally, change their vote. In fact two people who considered the possibility that it might change votes (King and Collingsworth) voted for ARod.

That's a good summary of the conundrum. It's close to an impossible choice, but part of the equation - even though it technically shouldn't be considered - is going to be Rodger's run through last year's post season.

I personally look at the interception number and just marvel at it. Rodgers has the iron will/accuracy to not make the risky/bad throw that gets picked.

That performanc 'only' determines that THE PACKER SYSTEM WORKS. Every player on the roster must have the right attitude towords being prepared to step in..step up! It's a matter of record that Aaron Rodgers fully supported Matt Flynn's record performance. Matt Flynn gave Aaron Rodgers full credit as supporting him last Sunday and being his teams NO. 1 QB and looking forward to seeing the best QB in the NFL play the first playoff game on Jan. 15.

c) Aaron Rodgers is easily the MVP; and that fact extends into last season as we went on a Super Bowl run.

That's 15 plus the revela that will be in someone's paper Sunday. So we will know 16 votes before Monday. All A Rod so far.
