Why in the hell are Shields and Bush roughly 3 seconds late?

When I saw that in real time, I remember seeing more Giants than Packers in the EZ as the ball was in the air and having a bad feeling.

the "wtf"s...ridiculous that that play succeeded...but that's not the only one. everyone had a hand in that fiasco yesterday. the game was the definition of a team loss.

Me too! It was surreal to watch that HM become reality...almost in slowmo! I was so embarrassed. As bad as 4th and 26.

They were playing trail coverage because the Packers (and most everyone else including me) thought the Giants were going to run a 10 yard out to set-up a field goal attempt. As soon as the play developed I "knew" there would be more Giants in position to make the catch than Packers.

This is the way I have taught it for the teams I've coached...We always send 3 guys, leaving 8 deep. USUALLY most teams will put trips one way, or quads, with a single or twin on the other side. If there are trips, we always place 3 guys deep, with 2 guys under. The 3 guys over top are trying to knock the pass down, the 2 guys trailing are to ensure the ball hits the ground. As soon as the ball is touched, we've told our kids to just tackle guys or grab arms so they can't grab the ball. They are also in "trail" incase of a screen pass or a short pass as those can lead to big plays depending on time.

As soon as I saw the 3 giants guys with only a few green around then though, I said out loud, catch...and he did. I'm honestly more pissed off about the play before allowing bradshawn to run free and get out of bounds.

 Last Packers season was still super special; beating the Bears in a NFC Champ game and then beating the Steelers powerhouse in a SB...! WOW! It became the Ultimate season since I became a Packers fan in 1989. 1996 is 2nd & the Majik year in 1989 is still very, very dear to me!

Didn't the Giants start that drive by basically trying to run the clock out.....only thing is nobody decided to tackle the Giant running backs? FUBAR!

Problem was out starting Safety wasn't fast enough to catch their 250 lb. running back.

I'm starting to think Wisconsin has the dumbest football coaches in the US. NEVER call a timeout for an offense that is willing to pack it in and go to overtime or halftime. NEVER! When MM called the timeout, I screamed at the TV. 2 Plays later, the game was basically over.

Did Bishop walk off the field right after the ball was snapped? I heard someone on the radio mention he wasn't even paying attention during the entire play.

The beautiful thing about that Bradshaw play was that the Giants telegraphed it. He took a handoff up the middle right after the Packers called a time out. They then ran a similar play for a bazillion yards AND got out of bounds. I hate football.

The TO didn't change their approach. M3 was asked to do it by his D coaches from the look of the replay of him doing it. Something about personnel or alignment was wrong and they wanted it corrected. And yes, Peprah is slower than Jacobs by a fair amount.

Yeah what was that? The only explanation I can think of is obviously he didnt like his defense for that formation, Still...

Saw this comment from Dom after this pass... did exactly what most thought it would - but the correlation was interesting.

"I think that play is probably similar to Tramon’s interception in setting the tone going into the locker room in Atlanta in the playoffs last year. It just gives you such positive momentum going in because you’ve got one that you weren’t counting on."
