Granted, the source is Jay Glazer, but still...
This doesn't do much to make the Saints look better as an organization, especially with regard to the intelligence of the GM. IMO.
Also, Brian Brohm will be throwing to him??? He's still on the periphery of the league???

Edit: Or Randy Moss, if you prefer. Stupid fat fingers.

This is somewhere around the last thing on earth the Saints need to do right now.

Hopefully, Payton will cut Jay Glazer off and the rest of the league will follow.

But he will take "straight cash homey" for his pay. So that fits in to how the Saints like to pay their players.

Fack! They are already hard enough to stop on offense, I hope he signs with another team.

If they're looking to sign Moss, it probably means they figure they're not going to be able to sign Marques Colston. That would be a net loss for them.

Moss is going to be good this season guys. Not great, but good. Also, IMO Colston is slightly overrated. NO FO agrees.

Veteran wide receiver Randy Moss worked out for the New Orleans Saints (http://blogs.nfl.com/2012/03/05/moss-to-meet-with-saints-tuesday-one-other-visit-set/?module=HP11_headline_stack) on Tuesday -- his first since saying he was done being retired -- and the initial reports suggest it went very well.
La Canfora: Payday coming
http://static.nfl.com/static/content/catch_all/nfl_image/jason_lacanfora-110726_65.jpgOnce free agency begins on March 13, Jason La Canfora believes these two linemen are primed to cash in big time. More ... (http://www.nfl.com/goto?id=09000d5d8274f560)

Fox Sports insider and NFL Network contributor Jay Glazer took to Twitter to report (https://twitter.com/#!/JayGlazer/status/177101933692207104) that Moss lit it up during his workout in which he ran about 45 pass routes and "looked like the old Randy," according to multiple sources.

Likewise, league sources tell sportsNOLA.com (http://www.sportsnola.com/sports/saints/saints-news/581990-randy-moss-impresses-saints-in-workout.html) that Moss had an "off-the-charts workout" that included running the 40-yard dash in the 4.39 to 4.4-second range. One of the sources in the report described Moss as being more impressive than anticipated and in great shape.

According to the report, Moss spoke with Saints officials after the workout, including general manager Mickey Loomis and head coach Sean Payton. The sources confirmed to the website that there is a strong chance of the sides reaching a deal.
The workout by Moss on Tuesday seems to support his earlier claims that he was in great shape and had recently run a 4.3-second 40-yard dash after sitting out the entire 2011 season.

NFL Network insider Jason La Canfora reported multiple teams are interested in Moss (http://blogs.nfl.com/2012/02/27/moss-might-start-visiting-teams-soon/). In addition to the workout with the Saints he has at least one team visit set up for next week.

After a forgettable display with the New England Patriots (http://www.nfl.com/teams/newenglandpatriots/profile?team=NE), Minnesota Vikings (http://www.nfl.com/teams/minnesotavikings/profile?team=MIN) and Tennessee Titans (http://www.nfl.com/teams/tennesseetitans/profile?team=TEN) in 2010, Tuesday's workout could be the first sign an early market will form for Moss.

Did he then walk a 40?

One thing is for sure Randy Moss has had one helluva fantastic career. He's been a very special WR and a lock first round HOFer IMO. Anybody doubtingt that orn needing to put Randy Moss down for his playing ability needs to read this article to get their head on straight. He's been an exceptional talent in the NF with arguably only one WR in history exceeding his accomplishments. If your going to put Randy Moss down then your commenting negatively against all NFL WR's. Maybe you don't like him because he's been controversial in regards to his opinions and actions on and off the field? Maybe you are spiteful of him because he ws the greatest Minnesota Vikings WR of all time?

You'd have a hole in your water bucket argument if you ever decided to critique this man in terms of his on field accomplishments.

Read the article.

Hi. I didn't recognize that your message had a LINK in it.Thanks ... I read your source. It certainly appears as if Randy Moss didn't run a 40 for the Saints during his workout.
