Kind of funny, there was a post earlier saying Tollefson might be back. Weren't they on the team at the same time? I wonder if him and Saturday faced off against each other in practice?

Holy crap. Ted must have had a lot of items he wanted to cross off his to do list before the League meetings. Or Russ Ball gave him a Five O'Clock Energy.
I take it then, since I envision Muir as a 3-4DE, that its either Lawson or Tollefson? Isn't Tollefson too light (260 and change) to be a full time DE?

Hold that thought. Muir is 6-2 and 312. If accurate, he is more NT than run down 3-4 DE. Does he replace Bruce Wilkerson "Thanks For Saving Our Ass" Award winner Howard Green? And as he was released in November by the Colts, he was a street FA and probably cheap. He might be a camp body.
Can Tollefson play DE?

Thompson will next sign Edgerrin James to replace Grant and stay with the "Old Colt" theme, right?

Colts fans will definitely need to but a program next year.

I read one article that suggested that the Packers' interest in Tollefson would be as an OLB at 260 lbs.
Muir can at least compete with Howard Green. I wonder if they'll play him at NT or see if he can play DE?

When Muir was available during last season; I suggested we kick his tires....and got blasted for it! Muir is no pro-bowler but his body was more needed last season with the pathetic front 7 play by the D.
But okay, let's see what Muir has left in the tank!

Nothing special but a solid pickup.

I think he'll play DE for us, remember our starting LE weights 340. With Raji, Pickett, and I suspect either Neal or Muir will start at RE, our starting D-line will be damn near 1000 pounds.

I remember Muir as being the only colt worth a damn against the run. How was his pass rush?

Not that great. He was playing in the middle though, so if he goes to the outside, it stands to improve slightly based on scheme. The funny thing is that both he and Saturday were cut so they don't factor into the comp pick equation, so we still stand to get a 2013 4th from Wells and a 2013 6th for Lee as it stands. Remember that before you all decide that old Ted has amazingly turned over a new leaf.

That made me laugh. THANKS. (-: X 10
I'm pretty happy with what TT's done considering where he was at the beginning of this Free Agency.

I think the original movie with Gene Tierney and Rex Harrison from 1947 was better.
