Hargrove was one of the only players interviewed in 2010 for the first investigation of the Saints' performance of Mutiny on the Bounty. Hargrove, along with Gregg Williams and Joe Vitt. If Hargrove lied (especially the second time) then he might be cheap because he will only be available for half the season or so.

Sure hope he doesn't get suspended for long.

Hargrove recently released a statement regarding his hit on Favre and the bounty issue:

Seems like TT is sending a message to guys like Jarius Wynn and C.J. Wilson. Better be ready to bust your ass because there will be some competition. Lawrence Guy will be added into the mix as well as anyone TT may draft.

Yup, gotta think he'll draft at least one d-lineman. I like the move.

At least we know he can lay a lick on a guy. Maybe Hawk will learn something.

Look out ! Hawk got a hair cut. He'll get to the point easier now. MM will show him how to tackle again. To get mean !

He can't even bring himself to use the word bounty.

I wonder if the Packers can ask the League to stagger Neal and Hargrove's suspensions so one is available for each game. Maybe a shared roster spot.

Hargrove doesn't do anything to upgrade the position... he's just a body - which we have plenty of lying around as it is.

TT thinks we're okay in the front seven... next year will be a repeat of this year.

One of them just need to pull a Williams and appeal to put off the suspension until the appeal of finished.

Er, I suggest you wait until the draft before you throw in the towel.

That isn't wist throwing in the towel now. He has doubted the Packers ability to draft for defense since Tom Braatz was fired in 1991 or thereabouts.

Goes back longer than that ;)

If we hadn't bought ourselves a defense back in the 90's, we wouldn't have won the SB in '96; and while the defense played well a couple of years ago, I think our success had more to do with smoke and mirrors coordinating by Capers, and an offense that was clicking on all cylinders. The Packers are an 'offense first' team... on defense?? the Packers can be tough to watch.

How many P Green Bay Packer defensive players had their paws on Buccaneers RB LeGarrette Blount
and failed to bring him to the turf?
