Per the Milwaukee Journal:

Muir - no bonus, one year contract for the vet's $700,000 minimum, reduced to $368,000 if he goes on IR. (Interesting facts from him as a rookie - 4.89 sec. in the 40, 37 reps in the 225 pound bench press.)

Pat Lee - with Oakland - one year for $615,000 base salary and $65,000 workout bonus. (Wasn't this initially reported to be a lot higher?)

Jeff Saturday - two years for $7.75 million, Pro Bowl bonus of $100,000 each year. $1.4M roster bonus in 2013 if he's still with the club by the 30th day of the league year.

I am surprised there has been no news about Tollefson. I am guessing he left town? He was supposed to be in Thursday through Friday for a visit I believe. Twitter had him arriving.

If Twitter didn't have him leaving, maybe he's tied up somewhere in the bowels on 1265...

This year TT has hired me for a sidejob to close the deals with free agents at the Oval Office each night.
But I was busy this weekend; sorry but looks like Tollefson is leaving town

Tollefson is sort of a "minimum salary or that range" kind of FA, and when you're a player in that situation you really have no reason to sign with a team right away, since you never know which team with a lot of cap room is going to have an important player at your position get into a motorcycle accident so you'll end up playing for $1.2m instead of $700k.

Tollefson is one of the worst in the league at generating hits, pressures, and sacks per pass rushing snap. Worse than Wynn, Wilson, Pickett, and Raji.

Which when considering the d line he played with means not an upgrade to our defence if your analysis is correct. I pesonally do not know how effective he was playing with the giants.

Either that or too slow. I think Ted is trying to at least, in McCarthy's words, get a little competition going to scare a few of the complacents into actually improving.

And that might mean that even if Tollefson gets signed that there is a draft pick coming as well.

Yeah, that's just raw data, not really analysis. He may have lines up at DT on too many snaps or just wasn't getting home as often as JPP or Osi. (Tuck was horrid last year in that regard, too.)

I'm trying to get information on Dave Tollefson's Free Agent or not status. He was #71 last season with the NY GIANTS.

I did find this if you like Dave Tollefson photo's. I'll warn you. it's HEAVY on the Pic's and PLEASE a WARNING. If you hate the GIANTS avoid this LINK.

On page 18 there's a nice shot of GM Ted Thompson. A rare sighting... recorded on camera and ' in profile ' in two formats. TT looks awesome in white.
