The Packers are the only franchise to pass on the sports clothier's design and stick with tradition.

NFL.com says Raiders and Packers.

I'm all about tradition, but don't any of you wish we did SOMETHING else?

Actually, there were five teams with no changes: http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2012/04/04/five-teams-made-no-uniform-changes-in-look-or-fabrication/

And I agree with you. Sometimes I wish we did something else. I personally liked Wolf's idea back in the early 90s. But I now think the team can't change the uniform until they're bad for a decade or so again. And since that won't happen, we're stuck with tradition for a while. :)

By doing nothing they will look different than the rest of the league.

I'm ok with our traditional uni's, I'd just like a "modern" alternative jersey instead of any of our throwbacks.

If the new materials make you faster, harder to hold, tackle, regulate your temperature better, or whatever... then they should probably change the uniforms to take advantage of modern technology. If it's just aesthetic, leave them as they are.

It wasn't too many years ago that the NFL fans voted the Green Bay Packer Uni's 'the Best 'of all NFL teams.

The Green Bay Packers are unique. If other NFL teams desire to buy into the NIKE HYPE so be it. For the Packers it appears that just now it's a wait and see on the Packers Organization's decision to stay with the old look and fabric. If there's an obvious advantage to using the Nike proscribed fabric and technology the Packers will adjust.

Given the choice between the two I guess I'd go that route as well. How about a Yellow top with Green pants?

Finley likes the new gloves.

Last year, AR commented on how he liked the material the pants in the throwback unis. Seems to me the team would go to newer fabric that could bernefit the players' comfort and performance while keeping the traditional style.
