It's a subjective list, and everybody above him has some hardware. The way to remedy the situation is to win another title.

Funny how he excuses Brady for the miscues of his team mates:

And would be 5-for-5 if Wes Welker had stickier hands and David Tyree did not.

but he does not give Rodgers the same respect:

and 3) That stinker at home against the G-Men. That holds him back from No. 2 overall.

But for the drops by his team mates, Rodgers had a pretty good playoff game. Downgrading Rodgers because of 5-7 drops on routine throws, not to mention the fumbles, is a bit ridiculous. It strikes me that he did not actually watch the game, and is going just on stats.

The first three things that come to mind when I think of Rodgers:
1) He's a machine;
2) Discount Double Check; and
3) That stinker at home against the G-Men.

1) Makes you wonder how much he's watched Rodgers. Rodgers improvises, both physically and mentally, as well as any QB in the league

2) Makes me think he finds Rodgers somewhat annoying, and let that affect his rating

3) As Patler pointed out, he makes Rodgers' performance against the Giants sound worse than it was. Drops and fumbles were a big part of that loss.

It does say at the end of the article that he writes fantasy.

Put it this way, if youre going to build a team today, who do you want as your QB? Roethlisberger? I think not.

i might change the order a little but it's not that far off. kinda 1a, 1b, 1c, 1d, 1e. depends on what you want. ben and brady are getting a little old. eli is inconsistant. AR and brees are the stat kings.

If I had to select one player in the NFL to start a team's roster with and I had the first selection. Of all NFL players I would choose Aaron Rodgers.

I'm a big Eli fan, but neither him nor Ben belong in the conversation. Brees, Rodgers and Brady reign supreme right now until proven otherwise. Manning and Ben are on that next notch down IMhumbleO
