Two years in a row, McGinn had the best predictor among all expert mock drafts nationally.

That's pretty frickin amazing.

Now that Gosselin is out of the game, McGinn just has the best sources in the business.

The byline on that blog is Mike Davis. Is that THE Mike Davis - the guy who ran the JSOnline Forums into the ground? Skin...errr...Shin?

Hope he has better luck with bloggers than with posters. Wonder if he is in charge of the comments?

McGinn has always been one of the best, although he sometimes drew the ira of da Homerrats when he disagreed with the norm

Wasn't he hard on Favre when that wasn't the coolest thing to do?

McGinn has always called it how he saw it. Right or wrong, he's hammered TT, Sherman, Favre, and many others over the years

He split the middle on Brett, which was better than most. He did offer more pointed criticism than most. But he never went beyond that. His out was the Favre was the most willful athlete he has ever covered, meaning no matter what Favre did, he could produce magic on the field when all seemed lost.

A mix of criticism and commendation of the same trait was about as good as it gets with Brett.

McGinn does get points for taking on those in authority. Wilde, for instance, is sitting on some local resentment of Mark Murphy that made the Press Gazette in the offseason. Wilde has hinted at it, but hasn't written the story yet.
