A year or two ago, he was the fan favorite in camp. A few were really aggravated when he was snatched off the Packers practice squad.

Well, he's available. Part of Jacksonville's first cut-downs.

He's not that good.

Then again, neither are Borel or Gurley.

Is it just me, or does it seem that UDFA's who make the PS as a rookie don't make the next step the next year. Seems an awful lot of these guys have no upside.

Haven't both been injured this year too. Can't earn a roster spot if your shelved.

Limited ceiling guys. Jennings and Jordy were second round picks for a reason.

Throw him into the mix. Borel and Gurley are not doing enough to earn a roster spot.

#7 or Boykin could get the final nod.

I don't think anybody has really made a convincing argument for keeping 6 WRs. At this point, I'd rather keep an extra DB than an extra WR (as on special teams those positions are interchangeable.)

Keep Jennings, Nelson, Cobb, Jones, and Driver. Next April, draft somebody to replace Driver.

There is no argument -- its on TT. My concern is Driver keeping his roster spot.

Yep. And the old guy they were supposed to replace hasn't missed a practice.

House and Bishop being hurt also hurt the chances of 6 WRs.

As for UDFAs, its like Summer Camp. You have to fall in love with someone every year or you miss out on the fun.

We'll see about the old guy. Let's talk in November if he is riding a 4 game catchless streak.

Thats a big reason to keep DD. The number of drops are alarming.

Outstanding analogy.

I thought Cobb was drafted to eventually replace Driver?

Gurley might stick because of his ST play.

I think they'll end up keeping only 5 WRs also but I see them signing Boykins to PS and he could possibly replace Driver next season.

Ah, we fickle fans. Last year Vic So'oto was our new, true love. Now he's an afterthought while we drool over Dezman Moses.

This is the most likely scenario. TT drafts a WR in the 2nd round about every other year. (Murphy 2005, Jennings 2006, Nelson 2008, Cobb 2011). Probably due in 2013.

In the second round, of course.

Its time for a bubble wr to step-up and take DD's spot.

IMO DD's value is finding the soft spots in zones. Not much YAC.

Someone should start a Driver thread to address his status on the team. Name the thread simply "Driver" - no confounding details are necessary

I honestly think that TT might have pulled the trigger on A.J. Jenkins in the 2nd round had he not been taken at #30 (which was higher than most people expected.)

haha I guarantee that wasn't going to happen. I told yall before the draft that TT wouldn't select a offensive player until after the 3rd round, had no idea it would be until the 6th round though.
