This was all over the NFL Network; he's basically wishing the Packer CB's good luck in covering his WR's. He may be right

With his O line maybe he ought to be worried about Perry and CM3...

Cutler is like another old slinger. He always gives you a couple of chances for INTs. He's always had swagger, it's not like that was a part of his game that was missing.

Agreed we play soft zone that leads to big yards and TDs!

I'm just hoping we see a return of the 'trick knee' that 'gives out' whenever Cutler plays sucky

I hope the Packers make Cutlet eat his words....but I'm not to confident they will. The Packers hope rides on the Arod and the offense tearing them up.

Why doesn't the Pack play as much press any more? And when did that change? I've wondered about this.

I thought it pretty much tracked back to Collins and Williams getting hurt. Tramon couldn't tackle, so he played a soft zone. Peprah can't cover ground nearly as well, so he played soft, and the combination of Burnett's inexperience, broken hand, and Shield's concussion basically turned the Packer secondary into a collapsing tent like mush of a coverage. You would think it could improve this year, but then there is the craptastick play of Doc Jennings, and some reliability issues at RCB, plus the lack of confidence in Burnett to play like Collins. Stir in a crappy pass rush, slow or inexperienced pass covering LBs, and you have a D Coor who starts to sweat bullets thinking about playing press at the corners.

This secondary is starting off looking like 2004 - hopefully we won't have some all-out meltdown like we did that year at Philly.

So basically the 2010 Tramontana and House are the only CBs on the roster capable of player bump and run.

I was tracking back to when the coverage switched away from a lot of press. Things improved a lot with The Stooges out of the secondary. Bush (Moe) and Doc Jennings(Curly) play a lot better when they are on the sidelines.

Cutler was just taught the first rule of trash talk - if you back it up, you look arrogant and if you don't, you look like an idiot.

Don't know if he learned it, but he was taught it, big time.

He certainly knows how to hang onto balls when he's hit from behind. (pun fully intended)

How on earth did he not fumble once with 7 sacks and a bajillion quarterback hits?

Bears fear a potential Cutler mutiny
Posted by Mike Florio on September 14, 2012, 12:41 PM EDT
Jay Cutler, Antwan Barnes, J'Marcus Webb AP

As if the Bears don’t suddenly have enough problems, they now have to fret about when and if the players will rise up against their petulant, James Dean-wannabe quarterback, Jay Cutler.

Last night’s sideline incident with left tackle J’Marcus Webb, which featured Cutler swearing at and bumping the much bigger Webb, has created concerns within the organization that the players could eventually turn on Cutler, for good. That’s what a source with direct knowledge of the situation tells PFT.

It’s not the first time a quarterback has had relationship issues in the locker room. We’ve heard for years that Ben Roethlisberger had been (and still may be) persona non grata in Pittsburgh. But the Bears are getting closer to the breaking point with Cutler, and the worry in the organization is that if it keeps up, something could go down.

Love the first quote in the story. Can only assume it's tongue in cheek! If not, some kind of delusional.

Bears dead. Packers falling quickly. Lions will always be the Lions. Vikings on a steady climb to the top. Just sayin’.

Woodson owned Cutler in the game and afterward, with the pick and with that comment.

Adam Schefter was doing his Friday spot on CJ and Kreckman (Denver local sports yak) this afternoon and they asked him about Cutler's treatment of his teammates. Schef responded that everyone dinged Cutler for being so emotionless and now they're getting on him for being too emotional. Then he went on to talk about Woodon's comments and said that he found them "verrrry interesting", that he knows Woodson well and that Charles doesn't do things like that without a purpose.

I thought the point that Schef was getting at was that Woodson knows the way to get to Cutler is to get in his head and stay there.

Side note: People in Denver LOVED seeing Cutler take a beating last night. I have heard lots of people talking about what a mess he was and really seeming to relish it.
