we just drafted a kid last yr I think has some potential. He may not be as physically gifted as Finley but he might turn out to be more reliable. Finley will make a remarkable catch, and then proceed to fuck up his next 2 balls. I've been a big supporter of his and thought maybe last yr was just rust or an off yr. For sure. These are two very smart, disciplined defenses. Both had plans to beat our offense, plans they worked on all off-season (49ers cuz first game, Bears cuz division rival and team to beat.)

Our offense is going to have to adjust a little. Glad to be 1-1 honestly. Young defense, offense that had to play two smart defenses back to back. . . . I think this is a heck of a start. We have to see that young defense come together and the offense continue to find this years identity.

Great game!! Alot to improve on, but a lot of new things stood out, young guys, reasons to be excited. . . .
