I've been seeing advertisements that Sunday NFL ticket is included with the Direct TV base package now? That has to be some kind of a limited time introductory offer, right? It used to be one of the more expensive premium packages.

I just recently signed up again with Directv, and I get it free, although don't know for how long. My guess is it's for one year.

It's definitely not part of their base package, just signups. I'm paying $199 for it this year, which is at least as low as it's ever been........

Yeah, NOW they decide after 8 YEARS to finally get an agreement.....

Cut cable earlier this year due to cuts in family budget. I'd love to have it now, problem is I can't afford it. Again, this is why they'd have more subscribers if they had ala carte pricing.

Good news though for current TWC subscribers. Supposed to be on the basic digital tier this weekend. NFL RedZone would be on the extra Sports Tier pkg.

We cut the cord this year too. other than the kids watching cartoons the TV is never on. We stream netflix thru the wii and I find other "avenues" to fulfill my sports fix.

It is nice except no NFL ticket yet for TWC.
