Announcers are rightfully all over the refs asses for the calls, back to the PI against Shields. Some veteran ref in the booth saying he doesn't know how that call could happen.

Packers left the field. I will be so disappointed if they come back on for the extra point. Don't know what the league would do to them if they didn't.

Ya, I'm done. Until this is over, maybe beyond. And it has nothing to do with the players.

Simultaneous possession always goes to offense. Tate had his arm between Jennings arms. Jennings had his arms wrapped around the ball, against his chest. Tate's arm was against the ball. Apparently an arm touching the football is considered possession now.

Good catch. So my hopes during review were futile.

None of you can know this, but years ago during the first iteration of replay (opening game, Browns v Bears 1986), the non sensical approach to reviewing only certain calls caused me to complain that they would eventually review everything and the games will take four hours.

They had two simultaneous calls in the end zone. What needs to happen there is the referee has to pull both officials aside and ask what they saw and make a determination on who had more credible info. Make the call on the field based on the discussion.
Then he can go to the booth. That did not happen here.

It was was one of many horrible calls in the second half. That was not roughing the passer on Walden...interception should have stood, Packers victory formation. That was not pass interference on Sam Shields; he had position. If anything, it was PI on Rice for grabbing the defenders shoulders.

Should the game come down to stuff like this? We'd prefer that it not, however, in tightly contested games, each call is that important.

A stain on the NFL front office for not having brought back the regular officials by now. Could they have made bad calls too? Sure...but not like that. When the ESPN announcers are saying the Packers got jobbed, that's bad.

Well, I looked past the obvious clutch and grab being put on our receivers in these first three games. Yes, there were bad calls on both teams--but it's hard to look past the three VERY obvious terrible calls. The cheap shot on Jennings, the pass interference on Shields, and the last play. Well, we'll see how the team responds. The Saints aren't going to be easy and we have Houston coming up, so 1-3 and 2-4 is not far-fetched. Fortunately, the second half schedule looks easier, and maybe we'll have the real refs by then.

The pushing and shoving and aggressiveness by players is just increasing every week as the refs lose control more and more. The NFL is letting the league spin out of control...and for what?

Wow!!! Just absolutely disgustingly ridiculous. I threw up in my mouth again after seeing that pic. The NFL owners need to fire Goddell, reach out an Olive Branch to the referees and than have every game in every stadium free for the remainder of the year as punishment for the disgusting act they allowed to happen on Monday Night Football tonight. Just sick.

Thanks - figured it would be something like this. That would have been all kinds of interesting.

Perhaps even the refs had big money on this game. They probably know that it's their last week of NFL officiating, so why not make a few bucks."

Does anyone have the game recorded? Official #26 was the one who ruled the Hail Mary a TD. Judging by his field position, I think he is also the one who called the PI on Shields but I was wondering if anyone could confirm it.
